Children's church causes family division and takes the responsibilty of instruction from the parents. We have been in churches with it and without. Children need to learn self-control and discipline and to listen instead of being "entertained." Our children would rather serve soup in a kitchen for the homeless than go eat pizza with the youth group. "Do hard things" can be just getting back to the mindset of putting others ahead of one's self in this "self" consumed society.
