SALT Magazine

Hello!
In case you don’t know us, our names are Jim and Cindy McDermott. We love the Lord Jesus Christ and want to serve him as best we can. God has also blessed us with 12 children and given us the opportunity to homeschool all of them who are of age. Eleven years ago we started a publication called SALT magazine, because we had a passion for the practical issues of Christian living many churches find too controversial or too mundane to address. (To learn more, visit the 'About Us' page.)
Interest in SALT has slowly increased. Our subscribers are scattered all over the country. We have hundreds of hits/day on our website (www.saltmagazine.com) where a number of articles have been posted. Requests for free issues of SALT have come from all over the world. 1/4 of the free issue requests the last four months have come unsolicited from overseas – the majority from countries you would least expect. It is humbling to know that every day people from all over the world are being reached with the message.
It has been difficult to devote the time and the money necessary to maintain an expanding ministry while both working outside the home. It is our hope and our prayer that we could devote ourselves full-time to this ministry.
Therefore, we would like you to consider becoming partners with us in this work. I know there are many fine Christian organizations that would love to have your financial support – and you can’t support them all. Nevertheless, we ask you to pray for our ministry and to prayerfully consider becoming financial supporters.
One-time gifts are especially appreciated at this time. We have hundreds of free issue requests for SALT Magazine that need to be filled. However, what we need long-term are people who will support us monthly. This will ensure that the work will continue.
Will you join us? If God is moving you to give, please send a check made payable to SALT to the address above.
Thank you and may God bless you and your family.
Jim and Cindy McDermott
